Nokia Siemens Networks to modernise T-Mobile Austria's 3G network.

(ADPnews) - Sep 23, 2009 - Telecom equipment maker Nokia Siemens Networks said today it will modernise the 3G radio access network of mobile operator T-Mobile Austria GmbH.

No financial details were available.

The modernisation is due for completion by mid-2010.

As part of the project, Nokia Siemens Networks will deploy 2,500 of its energy efficient Flexi Multiradio Base Stations which will enable the customer to cut its carbon dioxide (CO2) footprint by 2,500 tonnes per year.
